True NoonPrivacy policy

The short version
True Noon runs on your phone. Your profile, trips and journal are stored on the device and never sent to us. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
What the app keeps
To build your plan the app stores, on the phone only: your usual bedtime and wake time, chronotype quiz answers, optionally your age and sex, whether you use melatonin or caffeine, your home airport, your trips and flights, any fixed commitments you add, and what you log in the Journal (sleep, naps, light, caffeine, melatonin). Deleting the app deletes all of it; "Start over" in the You tab wipes it as well.
Calendar
With True Noon Pro, and only after you grant calendar permission, the app can read your calendar to find flights and commitments, and write the plan into a calendar of your choosing. Reading and writing happen on the phone; no calendar data leaves it. You can revoke the permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone from your plan. Nothing about them is sent anywhere.
TripIt
If you link a TripIt calendar feed (Pro), the feed address is stored on the phone and the app fetches it directly from tripit.com to read your flights. That is the only network request the app makes, and it goes to TripIt, not to us. TripIt's own privacy policy covers that service; unlinking the feed in the app stops the requests.
Purchases
True Noon Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment; the app receives no card or billing details and only records that Pro is unlocked. Restoring a purchase asks the App Store, not us.
Health information
Sleep, caffeine and melatonin entries are sensitive. They stay on your device and are used only to adjust your plan. True Noon does not read from or write to Apple Health.
Children
True Noon is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version ships with the app and the date above moves. Questions go to contact@truenoon.app.
